Hesper is committed to Collaborative Law because it combines the best of both worlds: it allows parties to cooperatively reach a settlement while benefiting from their attorney’s advocacy, problem-solving, and negotiating skills. It also allows the parties to receive insight and support from other professionals who assist in identifying the parties’ interests and their children’s needs.
A Maine native, Hesper’s practice is based out of Portland. With a focus on Family and Probate Law, Hesper is a Founding Member and the Treasurer of the Maine Collaborative Law Alliance, a member of the Maine Guardian ad Litem Institute, the Maine Bar Association Family Law Section, the Cumberland County Bar Association, and the York County Bar Association. She also volunteers with Legal Services for the Elderly, sits on the Board of Directors for Maine Odyssey of the Mind, and is the Chair of the Seacoast Waldorf School Building Committee.
